Explore Your Limits - A Special Invitation from Yogananth Andiappan

Namaste

Thank you for your interest in the Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training to be conducted at Nirvana Yoga – Sydney, Australia.

With this full time training, you can completely immerse yourself for 10 days in an in-depth practice and delve into the secrets of Hatha Yoga.

Highlights of the course include:

  1. Proper warm up techniques for particular postures and sequences
  2. Variations and modifications of the poses, including steps, alignments, usage of props and partner support
  3. Pranayama and Kriya that enhance your Hatha Yoga practice
  4. Teaching and assisting techniques
  5. Planning a self practice according to the body's needs and limits
  6. Anatomical view of asanas and how to prevent injuries in your practice

Please note that this training, though termed "advanced teacher training", is not just about practicing advanced postures. Even though you may not be able to do some postures, you will learn the techniques, understand the required warm up and master various approaches to each pose. For instance, you will understand how a simple warm up technique and breathing help us achieve the most advanced posture with ease.

As a practitioner of Yoga for more than 25 years, I also experience some level of difficulties in maintaining my flexibility and strength sometimes. Knowing why this is and how to overcome the obstacles is key to an effective and strong practice. From this training, you will appreciate where you are now; and in order to progress, what is missing and needed in your practice.

Upon completing the training in Sydney, you will be given a written assignment on a general Yoga practice topic, which will be submitted within a month either by e-mail or by post. We will issue a certificate which is accredited by Yoga Alliance USA; and Asana Andiappan College of Yoga and Research Centre, India.

I would strongly recommend you to enroll on this training and explore your limits in body, mind and spirit.

You can click the link below for additional details about the training and students feedback. As there are only a few spaces left, please respond soon.
